Julian Dicks is the very reason why Grays are playing in the Ryman North today. If only Haken had been appointed instead, who knows, we may still be in the Conference?? Not a subject for levity I would suggest.

Technically you may be right. But had we been competing at BS or BSS last season, with our numbers, I think the club would now be gone finacially.

From the Heybridge website:
Julian Dicks available to coach Swifts youth teams
By JAMES COLASANTI WEST HAM icon Julian Dicks is available to coach youth teams at Heybridge Swifts.
The retired defender, who played over 100 games for the Hammers and was their first team coach between 2015 and 2017, is already overseeing sessions for Swifts’ Under-13s Leopards and Tigers sides, and the new Under-14s Eastern Junior Alliance team.
Julian, who is a regular spectator at the Bostik North club’s home games at the Aspen Waite Arena, has also previously managed sides included Grays Athletic and Wivenhoe Town.
Swifts Youth Chairman Steve Spreadbury said: “One of the best things about having Julian help our youth teams is he will provide sessions which all coaches can then enhance with their teams so they can continue to progress.
“Last season he saw about 20 of our first team’s home games so he really knows what our club is all about and is keen to help us have a bright future.”
For more information on booking Julian Dicks for your coaching sessions, contact Steve Spreadbury on 07770 524650 or steve.spreadbury@cargomarketing.com
