Last season and again this we have donated just over £6000, t hat’s £12000 in two seasons. I know there are still a lot of you to join. It's only £10 a month. Anyone who wishes to go in the draw from August please contact me for details. 50% goes to the club and 50% goes to the prize pot. The draw for March, April, May June and July will take place once we can draw as per the rules. March is £100, April is £500 May £100,June £100 and July's SUPER DRAW looks like £4300 but will be confirmed later. David

Just an idea but here goes , With this draw being set up to raise funds for the club and regarding the current situation we find ourselves in, how would members feel about diverting the winnings from March - June plus the super draw in July to the club ? We all want to help our club and this could provide vital funding for our clubs future. Just an idea what do members of the draw think??

Hi Duncan, I hope all is now well with you and the family in the Midlands. I appreciate your thoughts on the community draw. The rules of the draw were published when we started in July 2018, with a 50/50 split between prizes and money towards club running costs. PERSONALLY I think it would be unfair to go against the rules we set out. HOWEVER, if the winners for the five draws we have up to the end of July wish to donate some, of all, of their winnings back to the club, I am sure the board of the club would be delighted to to receive help during a very difficult time. I will raise it with the board when we next meet. Stay safe now and hope to see you and the family when we have some football to watch and support.

Hi David - thanks for the update. It might be worth having a word with the Council's licensing dept. Clearly these are exceptional times, and I have come across a number of instances at work where regulatory authorities are allowing practical solutions to be adopted to resolve issues that could never have been foreseen when rules were drawn up. This would seem to be such a case. They might, for example, accept an on-line (eg Facebook) draw with say two people present at the draw site, which could be considered as a virtual meeting. Stew

Stew Exactly what we are thinking of doing. We did that for the last four smaller draws. Doing it at the Q @ A that Steve did. But we need to make sure this s ok for the big draw Thank you

Thank you David.
I thought we might ask the ref to do it.
He/she should be independent (!) and he/she MIGHT draw out my number.........
it would be nice if we can beef up the numbers for the new year which starts this month.
Based on the 100 or so that we have at the moment, the Grand Draw prize is around £4,300.
Remember, the more who enter, the higher that Grand Draw prize will be. (Ok so the odds get a bit longer, but you know it makes sense to support the club AND you can get something back!).
It's £10 a month and further details are on our website.

When i get back tomorrow evening I will up my standing order by £10 to £20. It means very little to me as I don't notice it anyway. does anyone even know if an interest rate even exists these days? Rumour has it Nessey's been seen more. But it could help the club keep going.

It's a good time to join now for the new year. Just £10 a month, with 9 monthly cash prizes of £100, a Christmas draw for £300, £500 at the end of the season and another £4,000+ in July next year.
You know it makes sense.
Website has details for an application form or see David Barnes at the Supporters table at our home games.
