Thanks for the official confirmation.
In practice I think another week after lockdown will be required to allow training sessions and avoid injury as far as possible, so Saturday 12 December will probably be the earliest safe re-start date.

The vets league are returning on the 5th December as long as the lock down isn't extended.

Interesting from Ollie Bayliss, the non league guy from 3 Counties Radio just tweeted this:
"Ollie Bayliss @ollie_Bayliss The Southern League is consulting with clubs over when competitive games should resume if lockdown is lifted on Wed 2nd Dec.
They've asked clubs if they would prefer Sat 5th, 12th or 19th Dec.
The League is recommending Sat 12th Dec to allow players to regain match fitness."
I think it's very sensible to allow some time for training before the competitive stuff begins.

Looks like all of the clubs in Isthmian North will be in Tier 2 areas (Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire) - so hopefully all will be able to admit some spectators when games get going again.
Of course, everything still subject to formal confirmation and no-one takes anything for granted any more. But all fans with itchy feet, yearning for a Saturday afternoon Bovril, will be waiting for announcements from the league and clubs - but maybe a chink of light.
Looking forward to seeing you all, hopefully soon.
Stay safe and Come on You Blues
