An excellent article. Lee Vehit is one of our newest and most important appointments. It's another fine example of what the club has achieved since we became fan owned at the end of 2016.
Lots more to come with the right support from our local politicians and senior executive officers.

Agree, a great catalogue of how we are so fortunate as a club to have the input of these dedicated individuals. The value of involving the whole community in a club is so important regardless of age, gender, ability etc etc. A club that is inclusive of everyone will be stronger, more vibrant and more sustainable.
For far too long women were positively excluded from football - which might seem laughable now but it was only in the 1970s that the FA rescinded the ban on women playing at FA registered club grounds on the basis that football was "quite unsuitable for females". Of course, going back to period after WW1, women's football drew massive crowds and there was a fear that it might overtake the men's game - of course, that could never be allowed to happen !
Thankfully we live in a more enlightened age, even if there is still a long way to go to achieve equity within all sports. Hands up those who remember Amy Rainer as by far the best referee in the Conference. But our example of women's involvement in the game, whether as a player, official, volunteer or spectator is certainly something I am proud of and long may it last.
Come on you Blues !

Poor old Amy took a lot of stick in her time as a ref and just stuck to her job ,unlike Mr Drysdale at Ipswich the other day .Yes she was certainly a professional and a fantastic role model to all other ladies who choose to follow her into our game
