I wondered what happened to our keeper from a few years ago.
He was at Wycombe, but has been on loan to Hayes and Yeading and the loan has now been extended until the end of the season.

I remember Steve Arnold - a Keeper who was good with his hands and rubbish with his feet.
I am sure that the Hayes and Yeading fans will have hours of fun on the terraces catching Steve's goal kicks and clearances!!

Has left Wycombe and joined Stevenage.
He is still only 22. If he has fully recovered from the bad injury he had with us, I think he could do well in League One.

Isn't Ladapo at Plymouth? He is indeed. Joined them in June 2018.
He was on load to Oldham and Shrewsbury before rejoining Southend who gave him a 6-month contract from January 2018 to June 2018.

I am sure that the Hayes and Yeading fans will have hours of fun on the terraces catching Steve's goal kicks and clearances!! Looked like his kicking has improved over the years! They beat Salford 3-1 and Steve made a few decent saves and wasn't at fault for the goal.

Marshall just set up their third goal as well. 3-0 up against 10-man Exeter.
Final score 4-0, so Arnold kept a clean sheet which didn't happen many times in that struggling Grays team around 2008.

Awarded player of the year at Southend . Always think that a goalie who gets player of the year must have been excellent in a team of under achievers
