I hate the thought of any team going to the wall, which means even teams that haven't particularly backed us up in the past .What is worrying is these things tend to be the tip of the iceberg and the word merge comes up again. If Thurrock to go I'm sure that we welcome their fans with open arms

I wish Tommy a successful recovery, I’ve always found him to be a proper football man and I think he always had a special relationship with our passionate fans. Good luck with the sale, he could always be part of Grays Ath, the fans would love him to share his 3 deades of football management with our fledgling community club. Be strong.

Unless someone purchases the ground and wishes to keep the club's registration for next season. I think this would have to be done by 31 March this year, although that might depend on the current ownership of Thurrock FC at the moment. Remember we had to go through a lengthy process at Grays through the FA and the Isthmian League in order to transfer our membership from the previous company ownership to the new Community Benefit Society we have now.

As a boy from Romford and I did go and watch them some times. When they played in there ground near the A12 I hope they will be OK Homeless again if things don't change and looking likely to go down
