He made it clear that he doesn't want the job permanently

I can assure you all that I am doing Steve Wiseman a favour just for tomorrow night, as he and I have been friends for over 36 years...
I will even have to borrow a pair of boots so don't make assumptions that are not true.
I shall also be over on Wednesday night to cheer the boys on as they look to bounce back from last weeks defeat, as I have done at Great Wakering, as I did against Maldon away, As I did at Heybridge away and many other games since I left so please don't question the reason why I walked away from football management. My conscience is clear and I would suggest that the club wasn't in too bad a position at the time either, improved even further by Joyno and his team.

We love having you on the terraces with us Jim. It's definitely a new experience for me !
A lot going on in Thurrock football at the moment - the managerial merry-go-round is whizzing round. Some clubs doing better than expected, others under-performing, all doing their best !
Come on you Blues
