The FA has ruled that from this season, clubs in the Premier League, EFL, Conference National and the top two tiers of the Women's pyramid, cannot arbitrarily make material change their club crest or recognised home colours without the backing of their supporters.
This new regulation does not apply as far down the pyramid as the Isthmian League, but it sets an excellent precedent.
Of course, as a supporter owned club, this chimes completely with our own philosophy.
And about time ! Hurrah !!
