I rarely have my finger on the pulse of who is moving here and there, but is it correct that big George has gone to Tilbury?

Congratulations to Big George's Ashford Utd on becoming champions of the Southern Counties East League today by winning 7-0 at home to Rochester Utd.
Their victory just pipped AFC Crowborough (my home club!) to promotion.
Ashford Utd <should> be promoted to the Isthmian Div 1 South. Will find out (as indeed will we) on 12 May 2017 when the league make their pronouncement of the placings for the 2017-18 season.

"South Division - the award heads to the DGS Marine Stadium, as George Kamurasi is rewarded for his part in Greenwich Borough's wonderful December. Borough were undefeated in six matches during the month, winning four of them".
Safe Hands Award for George in December!

He also conceded another two in the month for Greenwich against Hastings.
i think the League have invented a new award - highest goals conceded by a keeper in a month!

Whoops! I also missed the one he conceded for Ashford at Guernsey. That's SIXTEEN conceded in January. Think I'll check our records and see how Lamar has done this season. LOL

Guess what?
We conceded sixteen goals in September, but only ten when Lamar was in goal. Charley Aldis conceded the other six against Canvey.
