1. We all know where Trafalgar Square is in London but where was it in Grays? 2. In the 1950s and 60s the Grays town pub crawl took in nine pubs - can you name them?

I think the missing pub might be The Bull? As for Trafalger Square, it was in my loft at Mayfields, inside the monopoly box if I remember correctly

What was the one down the old high st. that only held about 8 customers. The Anchor and Hope? There used to be six pubs between the railway lines and south beach ..... Railway, Kings Arms, Rising Sun, White Hart and the Theobald Arms were five of them and think the sixth was the Crown ? but not 100% sure. Youre right though Blueblood they only had maybe a dozen drinkers in there . Just checked on Wiki and the pub between the Rising Sun and the White Hart was called the Bull and was demolished in 1970. Add in the Queens Hotel and the Wharf and that is eight pubs. Was there one in Crown road in those days ?

Well done everyone on the pub crawl - the accepted ones were - The Queens Hotel, The Railway Tavern, The Rising Sun, The Kings Head, The Bull, The Anchor and Hope, The White Hart, The Theobald Arms and lastlt The Castle.
The old dwellings called Trafalgar Square were sited on the south side of Seabrooke Rise oposite The Castle.
