I remember that game very well, or so i thought(see below). Stuart Nethercott, now manager at Ware, was the new manager of Maldon. A 7-0 hammering was a baptism of fire for him. The problem is, i can't remember a number of the players who played for us that night! Apparently Kenny Beaney played and scored. The guy mentioned above also played. Never heard of him before, or since. Jamie Stuart had his one game in charge and Mike Woodward assisted him on the bench. The gate was about 85. Those were the days!

Pretty sure Jamie Stuart was manager of an ESC game the season before against Concord?
I missed the Maldon game because I was in Australia and remember going to the one JS managed!
