We have a filmed interview with Blues manager Jim Cooper- some great insights into next season and how our Youth players can play an integral part of the clubs future. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLNe_i0QHUY

Excellent watch!
We know he is very ambitious for our club and I hope we can all do our bit to support him, his management team and the players who sign for next season.

A brief reflection on the ten games under Jim and his team.
Firstly, replacing Jamie Stuart was the most difficult decision the board has had to make in our three years at the helm.
Ten games gave Jim the opportunity to assess the squad under no undue pressure, as we were reasonably comfortable in ninth position when Jim was appointed.
The ten games have produced four wins, four draws and two defeats, scoring twenty-one goals and conceding seventeen. We finished seventh in the table.
The defeats were against two sides above us - Heybridge and Bury. The four wins were against sides below us. Apart from Romford, the draws were against sides around and about us in the table.
I think it just confirms what Jim said in the interview. We have good players, but they need to be more consistent and we can expect to see some experienced additions to the squad to bring that to our game. Some of our current squad players may not return, but that is the nature of football at all levels.
Let's thanks all the players for their endeavours over the 43 games that we played during the season and wish them well wherever they play next season.

Very interesting that.
He doesn't plan on staying in this division for long.
