Yate Town take the fifth promotion spot out of the seven play-off winners, so Heybridge miss out as they had an inferior points per game ratio.
If Maldon had won the play off final they would have been promoted.
i thought they were the better side when we played them and Heybridge, but that's football.

So won the play-offs but not promoted, they must feel a bit cheated......much the same as Pinto felt when he got sent off against them, because their player dived to the floor and rolled around holding his head, very bizarre.

Sorry but that seems very strange to me and I obviously don't understand the structure of the leagues and play offs...
There was me thinking that if you won the play offs you simply went up a division...
Looks like its the year of the "H"...
Heybridge stay in our division and Hulbridge, Harlow and Histon come in...
"Funny old game indeed"...

Well.....except the team that finishes bottom, they will have a play off,but that wont have anything to do with us !
