Welcome, Danny.
26 year-old according to my research - unless someone knows better??
So, who can remember Peter Harman and Malcolm Shaw?
OK, I'm showing my (considerable) age, but these are the last two Grays' keepers I can remember who were from Thurrock, or Grays, in particular.
Malcolm of course, became an England Amateur International in the 1960s and is a member of our exclusive Hall of Fame. Peter was also an outstanding keeper in the 1960s/70s.
A nice tradition for Danny to follow and a lot to live up to, although from his background I don't think that will be a problem for him.

Harsh............but fair??
In fairness, he did score the winner at Bromley in 2000 which confirmed our promotion back to the Ryman Premier. I think you were there with me, young man!
Brother Lee was a decent player and Dad Chris did a brilliant job as manager against the odds.
I thought it was a shame that he wasn't given the opportunity to work with Mr Woodward when he he joined us as Director of Football at the end of the year.

I hope you haven't lost it and saying that Danny should have stay. Chris done really well after getting the managers job put on him and then losing half his players
