For the Essex Senior cup, Velocity cup and Thameside Trophy--do we have to pay to enter and are there any other expenses incurred?

Yes you do have to pay to come in but won't be full prices for all of them. Some will have a programme and some will include programme in price.

I think Blueblood as also referring to the costs of the club entering these competitions.
A well as that there are officials' fees to be paid for - HOPEFULLY - covered from the gate money taken on the nights.

In answer to a question I was asked last night, we have to pay to enter these cups except for the velocity cup. The Essex Senior Cup is paid through our affiliation process I have to do in May/June.
The Essex Thames side Trophy, we had to pay a fee of £30 to join and then each match you play in you have to pay £10 to the Essex FA. The ETT is a charity match set up and each club had to nominate a charity. At the end of the tournament a draw will be made and the charity that is chosen will receive the funds raised. This was started quite a few years ago then stopped for some reason and has been bought back this season. GAFC was involved in this cup years ago.
