I don't think there has been a better time to seek more support for our 12th Man fund.
With a deduction of £10,000 due to our FA Cup expulsion (this includes the minimum amount we would have received for losing at Kingstoinian - it would have been over £15,000 if we had played and won the game), it would be fantastic if more our supporters would consider making donations.
The details are on the link on our official website.
Let's BRIDGE THE FA GAP

A supporter who had paid their £15 for the supporters coach trip to Kingstonian has asked us to keep the money and put it in the 12th Man fund. Top donation, thanks!

Let's keep it coming.
Manager Jim Cooper has asked Liverpool FC to make a donation. They received a tiny fine for fielding an ineligible player and we received a bill of over £10,000 for our apparent transgression.
That's about 10% of our annual income. Liverpool's fine was about one third of a week's wages for Mo Salah!!
Let's BRIDGE THAT FA GAP.

Straight talking from the man: Jim Cooper coops_68 Oct 2 I am not surprised though... very poor treatment and attitude towards non league clubs. Perhaps @lfc may want to pay us the £10500 the FA took from us as a good will gesture 🤷♂️ Well said - but don't hold your breath Coops!

Our Chairman has requested a meeting with the FA Chief Executive to discuss the FA approach to our non league clubs up and down the country as he stated in his comments on the website, after we were expelled. (Steve Skinner's responses are reported in their entirety in tomorrow's Cambridge City programme, for those who would like to have a printed record of what he said).
1. I wonder how long the CEO will take to respond.
2. I wonder how much notice he will give us, if he agrees to a meeting.
3. If a meeting does take place, I will be very interested in his response.
The FA talk big about helping the grass-roots of football. Let's see if they can ACT BIG!
