I was wondering.
So Warren Kayembe was sent off at the end of the reserve's league game on Saturday,I imagine he will get a 3 match ban (I think it was a straight red card).
I guess that would also make him ineligible for first team matches, while he is suspended for the reserves league games.
Would that be correct ?

Warren has left the club and joined Romford.
Raise it with them if you wish.

I wasn't specifically interested in the player,it was more a general question.
I just wondered how it worked.
I'll observe if he plays for Romford immediately though. Although I don't know what league their reserves play in. I guess that wouldn't really matter anyway.
Mmm,maybe I'll just leave it.

Fair enough, "Nicky".
I suspect Warren will get the same treatment as a first team player. Seven days after his red card he will be suspended and unavailable to play for anyone for the length of his suspension.
Romford put in a seven day approach for him after he scored that excellent winner against them in the VT game last Wednesday. We wouldldn't stand in his way. Apparently, they don't pay their players so he is no worse or better off financially and he needs some game time, so good luck to him.
We may see him back with us a some time - I hope so.

….Seven days after his red card he will be suspended and unavailable to play for anyone for the length of his suspension. I see, thanks. I suppose what I was getting at was, does a suspension in a reserve league count in a first team league ? I guess it must do. But which games count? What I mean is,if it were to take say 4 weeks for the reserves to play three games (the reserve league fixtures seem a bit hit and miss),the player has also missed the opportunity to play maybe another 4 first team games. Or it could work the other way,and the suspension could be used up in first team games, while the reserves are not actually playing. I realise that the reserve league is run by the Essex Senior League, and the first team is the Isthmian League. I don't know if they have a reciprocal agreement. Probably not. All a bit complicated, but interesting none the less (to me anyway).

I don't understand this at all.
I notice Warren is down as suspended on the Essex County FA website from Saturday 2 Nov 19 for 3 matches (7 days after his red card for the reserves)
But he played for Romford on Saturday 2 Nov 19 and Monday 4 Nov 19.
Am I missing something here?

According to the FA if a player gets a suspension for what ever they can play for a higher league!!!!!!!
Double standards and no lessons learnt.
