Oh dear. This will have massive implications for clubs up and down the country from all leagues. I hope this whole thing is over in a short time. For both football and economic reasons.

I think in this instance that the right course of action has been taken. The age demographic for non league football particularly our club is that a majority of our spectators are over 60. Whilst this virus doesn’t seem to affect younger people who are fit like our players, one of them carrying the virus could potentially cause serious problems for many and life is more important than football despite what Bill Shankly said

I would have to think now the season will be extended by a month With teams that have at least 12/13 games to play Not many midweek games available

Little bit of commonse must prevail .We all know how much the powers don't like to overrun seasons but in this case it will,The really big problem will be money, surely it is down to the FA to work out some compensation package for the smaller clubs!!!! I dare say that there are a lot of players with holidays booked in may who will be out off the scene which will be a disadvantage and could seriously affect results . It's a headache for all teams Although the top teams will be able to take it more in their stride than the smaller clubs (They might even have insurance to cover it) It really up to the powers that be to make a decision!!!!!!

All good points, Gary. Perhaps we won't even get to the end of the season and all results will be written off. Start again in August.

I would of thought the insurance industry will try the act of god clause.

Come on you Blues I am the kind of bloke who comes out with smart arse comments in life. I know I'll get my balls in a sling yet once again for this joke. But I've just turned on BBC sport flicking through channels. I swear I've just heard Covid 19 Grays Athletic 0. I thought it makes a change for the boys to keep the score down this week. we are improving, well done.
