It is a roller coaster ride following the blues, but you wouldn't have it any other way!

As the season has finished, what players if any have stayed with the club? And what players have left?
What players would you like to remain with GAFC?

As the season has finished, what players if any have stayed with the club? And what players have left? What players would you like to remain with GAFC? #BORED WITH NO FOOTBALL #GET GRAYS A NEW HOME PLZ Hi Danny, Hope you are keeping well and coping with the situation as well as can be expected. I think this question has been asked a number of times around the end of the season for a few years now. The facts are that none of our players are contractually committed to GAFC from the end of the season. They are "free agents" in what I think is probably the correct phrase in football terminology. I'm sure our management will have spoken to our players, although it may not have been a big priority in these difficult times. Personally, I find it difficult to even think about what players we may ask to stay on until we have some certainty about when we may start to train, let alone, play again. Our financial position moving forward is in turmoil in much the same way as many clubs at our level. Let's just hope we can all talk about this when times are easier and the football authorities are in a position to inform clubs the plans for 2020-21.

Glyn makes some very good points and more than once in my time at the club only a handful of the players that finished one season turned up for the first session of the next preseason.
While next season is little more than wishful thinking at the moment what I can tell you all is that the whole group - staff and players - has stayed together to support each other via social media through these challenging times. Everyone is well and in good spirits at the moment and that is the most important thing.
Hope you are all well. Stay safe!
