In 50 odd years of watching the blues this match and the league cup win against Enfield at Dagenham must go down as the most memorable " big matches" I have had the pleasure to watch

They are my top two, too!
The third one is a little more difficult, but the games against Midlands opposition in the first Trophy win against Hucknall Town and the FA Cup 4th qualifying round home replay win v Dudley Town were right up there.

That was, I think, the best day out of them all. The train from Grays station packed to the luggage racks with Blues supporters, including for the only time at a Grays game in the last 30 years, Mrs G !
That side was worthy of a place much higher up the pyramid, if only we could have seen off Halifax in the playoffs.
But that finals day will live long in the memory. We really were that good.
I sometimes wonder if Mrs G still thinks that every Saturday nowadays is like that one.

I don't think anyone at that game( neutral, glory hunter or true blue fan) will every forget that game ,the atmosphere on the train,in the pub or in the ground was absolutely electric
