So it’s that time again for some updates on the squad and where we see ourselves at present.
On the injury front Nathan Fox has had a scan on his knee and waiting results but we are feeling positive he could be back training next couple of weeks.
Carlos also has a knee problem But think he will return shortly, Luke hirst injury is longer term and the Same with Thompson.
As you may have seen Ash miller played for the 23’s on Friday and is now catching up on his fitness levels so once all these guys are back we will have a lot of competition which I’m sure will push the team on further.
Obviously it has been a good start from the boys but we are still work in progress as is always is at the start of the season but I do believe we have a better team spirit and attitude for the game as the boys who have stayed feel like they have a point to prove to themselves and the supporters and the new players have added some extra energy and enthusiasm.
We as a management team regardless of how long we have been in the game have also learnt from our mistakes and in this game you never stop learning.
Dave and warren have worked hard with the team in training and we are beginning to see those hours paying off, that said there is a long way to go and we know Wednesday game is going to be very tough against a team flying high and also undefeated.
The best thing for me is to be back playing if front of our supporters win or lose you are always behind the team if we put the effort and desire into our performances and that is so much appreciated especially with all that is going on in the world at present it really gives us that much needed release from what has been going on.
Thanks again for your support joyno
