Received this from the FA earlier:
Gareth adds his name to the Pledge of Positivity
England Men’s Senior Team Manager, Gareth Southgate has made his ‘Pledge of Positivity’ which asks parents and spectators involved in under-18s grassroots football to commit to creating a more positive environment at matches across the country. Gareth appeared in a video highlighting the importance of positivity on the side-lines and the impact a negative coach can have on the enjoyment of those playing the game.
Make a positive start to your season and show your support by making the pledge today.
My response just sent to the FA:
"I will make my pledge the second after the FA agrees to an independent enquiry into their complete loss of identity with our national game. Grass roots football has now been let down once too often by our governing body and I cannot in all conscience support anything which the FA proposes. Time to call it a day, resign en bloc and allow supporters to take over the running of our game."
I can never, ever, support anything put forward by the most inept body ever created to run something that I used to be proud to call our national game. They are a disgrace to profess to be the custodians of our game.

The problem is that no matter how much they argue about it the FA is not run by football people,It should be fun by a selection of ex footballers from across the width of football ie. from ex premier down to grassroots players which should also include ladies .All the time it's run by buisness men in the pockets of sky / BT etc who only want to feather their own nests there will always be injustice (just look at Blatter)

I mostly agree with you there Gazza.
It should be bottom / up not top / down management.
The 10 or so big prem sides have way more sway than 400 Non League/EFL teams do.
Every year it seems the top 10 clubs get even further away from the rest of football. The FA tends to act in the interest of those top clubs. Not the 1000's of clubs. One outcome for Grays Athletic Another for Liverpool?
I agree footballers should be a massive part of the directorship.
and part owning players is another area they need to sort out. Nightmare. and Lobbyingand Football Agents.
A hell of a lot in football needs to be looked into post covid.
