So I am aware many people have not had any update recently and may not have been to any games yet.
so how do we see things at present ?
To be truthful we have had a number of early injuries, illness etc which has meant we have not been able to field a full strength team as yet which is very frustrating but on a positive note we have been able to introduce a number of our youth players and they can be very pleased with there efforts to date.
In the last two games we have seen strong first half performances but have faded in second half not due to fitness but more so due to amount of changes made and the youthfulness of our team has left us a bit vulnerable, however giving the younger lads valuable minutes and experience.
On Saturday it was a massive credit to the young team as we had 10 players missing and still gave a great account of ourselves which is very encouraging.
We should all being well have one or two players back for the weekend and are also in discussions with 3 players hoping to get them on board if not by weekend early next week.
We do believe that the group is stronger than last season once all fit and healthy and if we do mange to get some of the additional new signings on board it will be an exciting season.
Injury news is Ryan melaugh is now back in training,
Mitch Hahn has had his boot taken off and his Achilles tendon has recovered but now will start rehab, joseph has a broken wrist and Albert Levitt has ankle ligament damage.
Pat Ahern has been given positive news re his shoulder injury and only requires an injection so should be available in next 3/4 weeks.
Dan sambridge is now back in training but we still have several others missing but are hopeful they will be back in next week or so.
It has also been good to see how well Dan Gould and David Knight have settled in and has given us a exciting attacking threat.
As always hope this gives some information for you all and thank you for all your support Joyno
