We won the game 2-1 and played well, what's wrong with that?

Getting stuffed in the F.A. Cup in the first match against a team in a league below isn't very good. He almost got us relegated in the last full season we played. Seems like its going to happen again

I'll agree, losing in the F.A. Cup yesterday was far from ideal.
But the last full season that we played was 2018/19 and we finished in 7th place, so not really ''almost relegated''.

In 1972 Newcastle United lost to the then non league Hereford 2-1 manager Joe Harvey got the backing of the board and the following weekend walloped Man United 2-0 Harvey continued managering another 4 years bringing success to the magpies In fact he was one of the most successful managers they have had ...SO before slagging managers off look back in history and don't judge managers on one result .

That was with Jamie Stewart in charge until Feb. The pandemic came at the right time for Cooper, we were looking very vulnerable the next season having amassed a total of 31 points from 29 games.

Cooper's tactics resemble something from 1972

it Happens! we move on With the manager we have, If clubs sacked the manager after 1 poor result it would be a constant merry go round,
We played very well on the opening day of the season and we are ALL working towards getting a result on Saturday thats ALL of us!!
