Firstly apologies it has been sometime since I have spoken on hear but I am sure you can appreciate I have had a few more plates to spin over the last few weeks. Firstly a big thank you to the players for the way They have taken things on board since Jim retired and the great team spirit within the squad is really showing. Also to the fans a massive thank you for the way you have supported the team and myself it really does help especially when we are up against it in a game and the singing and encouragement is special. Also thank you to everyone behind the scenes who help this great club it is truly fantastic what you all do. So far the league form has been excellent and I couldn’t have asked for more other than the points we should have picked up at Maldon But I guess it evens itself out over the season. With regards to the injuries Pat Abern, kudos are likely to get some minutes tomorrow and we should know more about Ryan melaugh, Lewis dark in next week or so, also Lance is recovering and starting light rehab so a boost for him. The disappointing side has been the cup competitions but I did feel the team were very unlucky not to be in the trophy still but that disappointment will be used to push us further in the league. we now have a bit of a gap but are looking to try and get another game to bridge that gap all being well. thanks for your support as always joyno
