A big welcome into Isthmian North to new opposition for us in Gorleston and New Salamis - two more new grounds to add to the list. Welcome back to Wrexham and Lowestoft who we haven’t played for some time. And of course looking forward to renewing battle with East Thurrock.
Some great and interesting additions to our division. Always good to expand horizons.

I'll forgive our new Press Officer the "Wrexham" rather than "Wroxham", but a big welcome to you too, Stewart!
Proof reading is our game.......

Just looked up New Salamis as I've never heard of them.Saw the address as 68 Myddleton Road n22.I used to live at no.18 back in 1972.Fond memories.I see that's just the office address

Yes,I saw that. Not ground shared as long as us I bet!I lived in Myddleton Road 1972-1975 when I got married ( divorced in 2001!).Googled it.Certainly changed a lot in 47 years.Looks like it has its own shopping centre and market

Maybe just delusions of grandeur on my part thinking we might be playing Wrexham next season.
We did of course play Haringey Borough at least one season a few years ago. I remember getting lost in the Tottenham one-way system.
New Salamis have had an amazing rise over the past few years. Not that long ago they were playing in the local Cypriot league with other teams who all draw some connection to professional teams in Cyprus and Greece. They won this season's Spartan South Midlands League winning 30 out of 38 games with a goal difference of +87. So they've definitely got something going for them !

It seems Danny Bailey, ex-Blue from the 80's, was their manager until September 2021. They did very well after he left, winning the South Midland League and not long as a senior club.......I wonder where they get their backing??
94 points was pretty amazing in the 2021-22 season.
